Huningue

Located between the Rhine, the Jura and the Vosges mountains, Huningue is the first French town on the Rhine. In the Parc des Eaux Vives - a whitewater canal in the heart of the town - our weekend is dedicated to kayaking. We make our first attempts on the Gelterswoog at home over the three days. The highlight will be a trip to Alsace. We will spend the night at a campsite in Huningue. You should bring: camping equipment, swimwear and a desire for a little adventure! After this weekend full of water, adrenaline, campfires on the Rhine beach and lots of great (new) impressions, you will see water with new eyes. Attention, danger of addiction!

Course program

Guided by experienced DKV instructors, you can immerse yourself in the world of whitewater paddling. The park in Huningen offers the perfect conditions. From the shallow training pool, where you can practise boat handling, capsizing and perhaps even your first capsize roll, to the play roller on the canal, there is something suitable for every skill level (including absolute beginners). The course is primarily aimed at beginners and newcomers who want to gain their first whitewater experience under supervision and get a taste of the sport.
