Any questions?

And this is how it works

Stand Up Paddling (SUP) has been practiced for thousands of years. It first appeared in the 20th century in connection with water sports. Surf photographers and surf instructors in Hawaii used it to get back from the shore to the wave-breaking reefs faster by using a paddle. There are now two major disciplines in this sport: stand-up paddle surfing and distance stand-up paddling.

Would you like to experience the idyllic nature on the water at sunset on the Gelterswoog? Then you have the opportunity to hire a stand up paddling board with paddle and life jacket for an hour. After a short briefing, you will have the opportunity to get a taste of the sport. From May, we will be at the Paddler's Guild on Wednesdays, weather permitting, from 6 to 9 pm. You can hire a SUP with the water sports card or buy a 1-hour ticket on site. You have to pay in cash on site, so you can come by at 8 pm at the latest and rent a SUP. If we will not be on site due to bad weather, we will announce this on the respective day by 12 noon on the Unisport page under Cancellations.

If you don't feel confident enough on a SUP yet, or if you enjoy learning new tricks and skills in a group, then come along to our "SUP course 1-4" workshops! We look forward to seeing you!
