General Course Information
- The top-rope courses are designed for beginners and those returning to climbing; no prior climbing experience is required.
- All necessary climbing gear is provided for the course
- The goal of the course is to be able to climb and belay independently using top-rope in the gym or on the climbing tower
- Autobelay training, including
- equipment overview
- the basics of climbing and safety rules
- Individual participation is also possible. Groups will be formed on-site.
- Clothing for the course: comfortable athletic wear suitable for climbing.
- The ZSGW and Peak 17 house rules apply on site.
Top-Rope Course
- 2 sessions, 3 hours each
- Includes all necessary equipment
- Admission to the climbing area
- Instruction on how to use auto belays
- All the skills needed to climb and belay independently on a top rope
- Since this is a course with content that builds upon itself, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.

- Includes all necessary equipment
- Admission to the climbing facility for 1 adult and 1 child. Additional children can be added upon request
- Equipment instruction tailored to climbing with children
- Instruction on how to use auto belays
- All the skills needed to climb and belay independently on a top rope
