A competition for everyone!
It's going to be hot on July 5! There's a lot on offer at our Peak 17 Masters. An exciting duel competition for all interested parties to take part in, fun climbing challenges for you and your friends, cool prizes in the competition and challenges, children and adult taster climbing, coffee, drinks and food will be provided. Together we enjoy a day of climbing, cheer on our friends and end the day with a sunset and good music.
The duel competition
A competition for everyone! 5 weeks of training, 3 hours of qualification with as many individual gos as you like and an exciting duel final! In our Peak 17 Masters you can get a taste of competition, compete against friends and the focus is on having fun climbing! The whole competition will take place in the toprope (autobelay) so that you only have to concentrate on climbing.
Training phase
From June 1st, two duel routes will be bolted on our duel wall on lines 13 and 15, so that you can climb and train on the same route in parallel with your friends, similar to speed climbing.
2 groups
There will be two different levels of difficulty. The Easy Flow variant for all climbers who are good and safe in the 6th grade UIAA and a Hard Pump variant for all those who are good in the upper 7th grade UIAA.
Qualification
The competition day on July 5 begins with the open qualification round. Here you can submit your best times on the routes. We will set up an autobelay timing system for this. You have as many gos as you like. Your best time will be logged in for the ranking.
Final
The best 16 participants per group will then compete against each other in a knockout duel in the afternoon. We will see the final duels in the early evening.
A detailed schedule will be published here shortly.
