Fancy one of the most beautiful hikes in Germany? Then join us on the Saarschleife Tafeltour around Mettlach in Saarland. You can expect a varied circular hike with spectacular views, forest trails and one of the most famous natural panoramas in Germany.
The tour takes you through dense forests and over panoramic heights above the Saar valley. A particular highlight is the historic Montclair Castle, which lies high above the Saar. From there, we descend to the riverbank, where we cross the Saar on a small ferry - a special moment of the tour, before later reaching the famous Cloef viewpoint. The classic view of the impressive Saarschleife opens up here - a perfect spot for photos and a short break.
