The sports hall has the building number 28. The UNIFIT can be found under the house number or in building 27.

- By bus: the bus stop "Universität Sporthalle" is right in front of building 28. timetable information
- By car: You can park your car free of charge in the free parking spaces on campus or in the parking garage opposite the sports hall.
- By bike: There are several bicycle parking spaces directly in front of the sports hall where you can safely lock up your bike.
Not all courses take place directly at Unisport. For some courses, other sports facilities on campus or in the Kaiserslautern city area are also used.
You will always find information about where the respective course takes place in the sports schedule, in the respective course registration and in the sports offer A-Z. Further details on the sports facilities and their addresses can be found on this page.
What do you have to offer? How can I take part?
The sports program is at the heart of what we offer - here you can choose your favourites from around 80 sports and take a wide range of courses. There is also our outdoor sports area, which regularly offers camps on the water, in the snow, on the rocks, in the forest and much more.
If you want to prove your skills and compete with others, our competitions are just the thing for you. Our UNIFIT fitness studio is also all about you - training area, courses, diagnostics, sauna and much more await you. Our events also offer you the perfect balance to stressful university days.

A UNISPORT subscription is required to book a course. The UNISPORT subscription is free of charge for RPTU students, and the subscription is booked automatically (for RPTU students) until your de-registration.
You can register for the individual sports courses in the ZSGW-WebApp. There you can log in with your RHRZ username and password and select the respective courses.
Please note that all courses are subject to registration. Depending on the course, registration is either valid for the entire semester or, in the case of very full courses, always for the next course date. You will find the relevant information directly at the respective course.
UNISPORT subscription
You need the UNISPORT subscription to participate in the sports program and to play sports freely at our facilities. The UNISPORT subscription is also a prerequisite for booking a Semester Cards.
Semester Cards
Semester Cards are required for some courses and further UNISPORT offers.
You need the Unisport Deluxe Card to use the soccer cage, beach volleyball courts and tennis courts . This card can also be booked as a day ticket. Subscription to Unisport is not a prerequisite for the Deluxe Day Card.
The water sports card allows you to take part in free swimming, diving, Aqua Power and Sunset SUP.
With the dance card you can take part in our Standard / Latin, Salsa, Bachata and Zouk courses.
You will find information about which card(s) and access authorization(s) you need to take part in the corresponding offer in the course booking. You can find an overview of all cards and tariffs here.
The Unisport subscription has a minimum term of 6 months and can be canceled monthly thereafter. The term is extended automatically. Semester Cards are valid for one semester and lose their validity at the end of the respective semester.
The Unisport services are generally available to everyone - not just members at RPTU.
Users are divided into tariff groups A, B and C.
Tariff group A: Students at RPTU
Tariff group B: employees at RPTU, students at other universities, pupils, employees of affiliated institutes, trainees, FSJ / BFD, pensioners, people with disabilities (from 50% severe disability)
Tariff group C: all other persons not belonging to tariff groups A and B
Students and employees of RPTU use their RPTU account with the corresponding password for the booking platform. All other status groups must upload a corresponding proof of status when registering.
Persons between the ages of 16 and 18 require the written consent of their parents to participate. Up to the age of 18, one parent must be responsible for the child's registration and registration for the respective courses.
Younger children may only take part in courses that are explicitly advertised for children (e.g. children's swimming course, parent-child gymnastics). The children are also registered here in the profile of a parent.
If you have a valid Unisport subscription or a day ticket, you can use the Outdoor facilities for free sports activities during opening hours .
Please note that regular sports activities, e.g. courses and classes, always have priority and must not be disturbed.
Free use of the sports hall is not possible.
If a course in our sports program is cancelled, all registered participants will be informed in advance by e-mail.
Is the Unisport right for me?
Yes, our courses are generally also aimed at beginners. If you are unsure, please contact the respective instructors in advance. You can find the email contacts under the sports in the sports offer A-Z.
If an activity is specifically aimed at advanced learners, this is usually indicated in various places.

Unisport offers you one of the largest variety of sports and leisure activities in the Kaiserslautern and Landau region. You have the opportunity to take part in numerous sports programs, competitions, events and much more directly on campus.
Thanks to our experienced coaches and trainers as well as our diverse sports facilities, you have the opportunity to do sports regularly, stay fit and maintain a balance between studying and working. Our subscription model allows you to discover new things at any time and take advantage of a wide range of sports activities.

What else do I need to know?
The changing rooms and showers are located in building 28 (sports hall) at the back of the corridor. You will also find sanitary facilities in the entrance area.
No, there are no lockers. It's best to always take your belongings into the hall or Outdoor facilities where you can keep an eye on them.

As a competitive athlete and RPTU student, you can take advantage of various benefits to combine your studies and sport in the best possible way. You also have the opportunity to compete in your sport with other students in Germany: we are also happy to advise and support you in participating in the German University Championships of the adh (Allgemeiner Deutscher Hochschulsportverband). You can find more information on this page.
You can borrow various balls, rackets and other materials from the Service Center in the foyer of Building 28 (sports hall). However, the borrowed materials can only be used on the UNISPORT facilities.
At Unisport there is always friendly and fair play. Please always adhere to the applicable rules and notices on site. You can find more detailed information in the house rules.
Please leave the sports facilities clean and tidy - just as you would like to find them yourself.
We regularly offer student part-time jobs in various areas, e.g. in the competition team, marketing or the facility team. You can find the current vacancies on this page.

Found textiles and shoes are stored in the wooden box on the grandstand stairs.
We store found valuables in our Service Center for approx. 1-2 weeks.
If you have not collected your valuables from us by then, they will be passed on to Building 47.
Unclaimed textiles and shoes will be donated.
