And this is how it works

Stand up paddling (SUP) has been practiced for thousands of years. It first appeared in the 20th century in connection with water sports. Surf photographers and surf instructors in Hawaii used it to get back from the shore to the wave-breaking reefs more quickly by using a paddle. There are now two major disciplines in this sport: "Stand Up Paddle Surfing" and "Distance Stand Up Paddling".

A first introduction to water sports, which is not only a lot of fun, but also provides a good introduction to water sports (surfing, kiting, etc.).

Course

Under the guidance of our experienced water sports instructors, various courses of 6 sessions of 1.5 hours each take place on the Gelterswoog, in which you not only learn the basic techniques, but also get to know the many possibilities that this sport offers: Endurance and strength training, as well as an insight into freestyle.
