Palatinate course - Toprope

The Dahner Felsenland in the Wasgau region of southern Palatinate is a nationally renowned climbing area right on our doorstep. Nevertheless, it is not always easy to find the more than 60 climbing crags, as they are often hidden deep in the Palatinate Forest. During this activity, you will be accompanied by trained DAV instructors who know the Palz like the back of their hand. They will show you crags that are ideal for setting up topropes without having to lead climb.
In the middle of nature, together with the participants of the "Mobile belay devices" course, we will nevertheless create our typical outdoor atmosphere with a drink together after work. Travel and meals are not included in the course fee and will be organized jointly. However, if you unfortunately have to work on Fridays, it is not an issue if you only join us on Friday evening.

Course program

Climbing is an intense experience where everyone can reach their own limits. In order to ensure maximum safety even in a very classic climbing area like the Palatinate, we climb exclusively in toprope. While beginners receive a complete introduction to climbing and belaying, it is interesting for advanced climbers to learn how to safely set up topropes on the rock. The safe step from the hall to the rock!
Of course, there is also plenty of climbing time on the program to put what you have learned into practice. The leisure time is aimed at anyone who wants to experience climbing in the great outdoors. There are no safety or technical climbing requirements.

Supporting program

Of course, a day is not over after the climbing program. Over an after-work beer with a fantastic view over the Wasgau, you can experience the Palatinate red sandstone in its most original form and reflect on the day's experiences.
