SUP course on the Gelterswoog

Stand up paddling (SUP) has been practiced for thousands of years. It first appeared in the 20th century in connection with water sports. Surf photographers and surf instructors in Hawaii used it to get back from the shore to the wave-breaking reefs more quickly by using a paddle. There are now two major disciplines in this sport: "Stand Up Paddle Surfing" and "Distance Stand Up Paddling".

A first introduction to water sports, which is not only a lot of fun, but also provides a good introduction to water sports (surfing, kiting, etc.).

Course

Various courses take place on the Gelterswoog under the guidance of our experienced water sports instructors. Here you can not only learn the basic techniques, but also get to know the many possibilities that this sport offers: Relaxation, endurance and strength training, as well as an insight into the freestyle area.
During the 3-hour SUP taster course, you have the opportunity to simply take a look at the sport or improve your current technique.
