Whether Lord of the Rings, Kingdom of Heaven, The Witcher or Game of Thrones: the long sword usually plays a leading role. The long sword is one of the most complex, but also one of the most fascinating weapons of European fencing in the late Middle Ages and early modern times.

The aim of the workshop is to share this fascination with you.
Over the course of a weekend, you will learn the basics and movement principles of longsword fencing. The practical application of the techniques will be practiced with a partner.

Our very experienced and highly qualified trainer will come to the venue especially for the workshop. With his know-how, he is able to provide greater depth and interactivity than is the case in our weekly courses.
