This is the mysterious motto of this year's Summer Ball at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. Come on board, set sail with us and join us on a voyage of discovery. Because only those who set off will discover something new!
With its unique atmosphere, live music and numerous show acts, the Summer Ball promises an entertaining and varied evening every year that is guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on all guests. In addition to the classic dance floor, a disco floor awaits the night owls after the official ball evening, where they can shake a leg until dawn.

Advance ticket sales 2025
Advance ticket sales for the Summer Ball 2025 will take place on different dates as on-site sales at RPTU campuses in Kaiserslautern and Landau. Tickets will be sold separately according to the status groups of RPTU employees, RPTU students and as open sales (without status group restrictions).
Please note the following information for advance sales:
- The purchase is only possible by cash payment.
- It is not possible to reserve or purchase tickets in advance.
- It is not possible to return tickets that have already been purchased.
- Proof of status is required to purchase tickets for students and staff at RPTU.
- A maximum of 4 tickets can be sold per person.
- A predetermined ticket contingent is available for each status group and each sales date. A premature complete sell-out is therefore not possible, and all status groups will be served on all sales dates.
- Tickets will be sold within the status groups and on the sales days on a first come, first served basis - only while stocks last.
- Please note that there may be waiting times at the points of sale.
Ticket prices (regular / reduced*)
- Strolling ticket (standing room): 30€ / 22€
- Ball ticket gallery (seat in the gallery): 48€ / 37€
- Ball ticket hall (seat in the large hall): 55€ / 42€
*The discount applies to RPTU students and pupils
