Catamaran sailing on Rügen I

The Wieker Bodden, in the northeast of Rügen on the peninsula Wittow, is one of the sunniest and windiest regions in Germany. Among connoisseurs, it is considered an ideal training area for kiters, windsurfers, winger and sailors and those who want to become one. Due to the shallow water and the close accommodation the area offers everything a water sportsman dreams of, no matter if beginner or advanced. All courses take place in cooperation with the local surf and kite school, the Rügen Pirates.

Catamaran course

The water sports program of the event offers you the opportunity to learn to sail a catamaran from scratch. Also for career changers of the dinghy, the basics are an exciting transition and therefore welcome. Qualified VDWS instructors will teach you all the skills for the VDWS basic license. For the pros it goes from gennaker sailing to strong wind trapeze.
If the Bodden is too small, you can go out to the Baltic Sea!
There is the possibility to get the boat license inland and sea. For this, special requirements are necessary, so it is imperative to write an email to unisport-wassersport(at)rptu.de early for more detailed information.

Program outside the course

Barbecues, table soccer tournaments, bike tours and other island explorations are just a small part of the colorful social program. Let yourself be surprised!
