Pfalzkurs - Toprope

With the Dahner Felsenland in the Wasgau region of southern Palatinate, a nationally known climbing area is right on our doorstep. Nevertheless, it is sometimes not easy to find the more than 60 climbing rocks, as they are often hidden deep in the Palatinate Forest. During this leisure time you will be accompanied by trained DAV instructors who know the Palz like the back of their hand. They will show you rocks that are ideal for setting up top ropes without having to lead.
In the middle of nature together with the participants of the course "Mobile belay devices" we will have our typical outdoor atmosphere this time without an overnight stay. Travel and meals are not included in the course fee and will be organized jointly. However, if you unfortunately have to work on Friday, it is not an issue that you join us on Friday evening.

Program

Climbing is an intense experience where everyone can reach their own limits. To ensure the highest level of safety even in a very classic climbing area like the Palatinate, we climb exclusively in the toprope. While beginners get a complete introduction to climbing and belaying, it is interesting for advanced climbers to learn how to safely set up topropes on the rock. The safe step from the hall to the rock!
Of course, there is also a lot of climbing time on the program to try out what you have learned directly in practice. The leisure time is addressed to all, which would like to experience climbing in free nature. No prior knowledge of belaying or climbing techniques are required.

Program outside the course

Of course, a day is not over after the climbing program. At the end of the day we´ll have a drink with a great view over the Wasgau and you can experience the Palatinate red sandstone in the most original way and review the experiences of the day.
