The Wieker Bodden, in the northeast of Rügen on the peninsula Wittow, is one of the sunniest and windiest regions in Germany. Among connoisseurs it is considered an ideal training area for kiters, windsurfers, winger and sailors and those who want to become one. Due to the shallow water and the close accommodation the area offers everything a water sportsman dreams of, no matter if beginner or advanced. All courses take place in cooperation with the local surf and kite school, the Rügen Pirates.

The water sports program of the event is ~18h, to present you once the complete range of "wind & water sports". You will have the opportunity to choose your ideal offer:
From beginners to professionals, we offer you to expand your experience and skills in water sports. In small groups, according to your skill level, you will be ideally supervised and trained by the experienced kite team of the Rügen Pirates. All instructors are VDWS licensed and live their sport.
The kite training will be done in a buddy system until you have reached your level 5. That means you will get a kite together with a partner to learn the breathtaking kiting.
The surf school offers you the possibility to rent water sports equipment outside the regular course time at extremely discounted rates. You can also use the previously learned in the course on the free morning / afternoon to give full throttle again.

Barbecues, table soccer tournaments, bike tours and other island explorations are just a small part of the colorful social program. Let yourself be surprised.

We are accommodated in the Old Sweden, which is located less than 5 minutes walk from the surf school. In addition, we have the Pirate's Nest, a vacation apartment, about 10 minutes walk from the school as accommodation.
