Boulder at the Pfalz

The Palatinate Forest offers about 70 bouldering areas and stretches from Landau over Pirmasens to the Northern Vosges. Some of them are even right on our doorstep. In the middle of the beautiful Finsterbrunnertal, a side valley of the Karlstal, which is crossed by the Moosalb, trained DAV instructors will teach you the enthusiasm and lifestyle of bouldering.

Programm

The safe step out of the hall and onto the rocks! Bouldering is an intense experience where everyone can reach their own limits. In order to guarantee maximum safety, even in a very classic bouldering area such as the Palatinate, great importance is attached to safety aspects. The course is aimed at slightly advanced and advanced climbers with indoor experience.

Why should you bring indoor experience? We will spend three days in a row on rock faces for several hours. Of course we will also enjoy the sun from the crahspad during coffee breaks, but most of the day will be spent bouldering on rock faces. So be aware that it is a sporting strain on your body, especially your hands. For all rock newbies, there will be a full introduction to bouldering and spotting on rock, as well as technical tips and aids.

Program outside the course

Of course, there is a lot of bouldering time on the program to try out what we have learned directly in practice. The evenings will be spent together in the typical outdoor atmosphere with an after work drink.
