And this is how it works

Triathlon is the combination of the three most popular endurance sports. These are swimming, cycling and running in the following order. Different distances and competition requirements challenge the whole athlete and fascinate the masses from professional athletes to recreational athletes.

We offer all sports at different levels.

In our guided running training for advanced runners (Wednesday) you will meet with other participants and together with our trainer you will carry out a running program that will help you to achieve your common running goals. The running training can consist of basic algae runs, interval runs, tempo runs and other types. You can join the course at any time. Registration is for the entire semester. If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, you can simply cancel your registration for that day.

You should bring running clothes, enough to drink and, if you like, gels, bars or similar.

Theeasy running session (Tuesday) averages 5km on the Running track, the pace can be between 5 and 8min/km. Forest runs can be organized on request during the course.

At our road bike meeting (Wednesday) you can explore the region's country roads as part of a team. The start is always at Unisport.

In our guided swimming training for advanced swimmers (Thursday), you prepare for the swimming distances together with the other participants. You will do training sessions together to improve your technique and endurance and prepare you for the distances. You can join the course at any time. Register for any date you would like to attend.

You can also train independently during free swimming (Monday only for RPTU members, Thursday for everyone).

You should bring swimwear and a swimming cap.

Note: Swimming caps are compulsory at Schulzentrum Süd.

 

Whether you are a triathlon beginner or advanced, everyone is welcome.
