adh University Run - Together for RPTU

September 20 is the international day of college sports!

Students, staff and alumni are invited to lace up their running shoes and cover as many kilometers as possible within 60 minutes - for themselves and for their university.

We will meet at 10:15 am on the day of the run so that we can start a joint warm-up at 10:30 am. From 11 a.m. we have 60 minutes to collect as many kilometers as possible. But don't worry: it's not compulsory to run for 60 minutes - you can also take walking breaks or simply finish your run earlier. We run on two possible circuits:: Flat (for either leisurely runners or record breakers) or Hilly (to gain elevation). The circuits start and finish at Dock 25, where the service team will have refreshments in the form of drinks and snacks ready for you to fortify yourself on each lap. Once the 60 minutes are up, the official run is over and you can finish at the dock. In order to achieve a valid result, each person needs a course tracker (a high-quality running watch is just as good as an app on a cell phone).

Please register in advance in the WebApp so that we can plan better.

Further information about the day itself can be found on the website of the German University Sports Association under IDUS - adh-Hochschullauf.

Goals
  • Official goal of the run: Attention and focus on: sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyle
  • Sporting goal: To collect as many kilometers and altitude meters as possible in 60 minutes (prizes for best individual runners and universities!)
  • Our goal: A joint running event where everyone is welcome, whether ambitious or more leisurely, and joint sporting activity
