Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) has been in existence for over 130 years. It is a substitute health insurance fund and thus a provider of statutory health insurance. It is open nationwide and, with 10.6 million insured persons, is the largest German statutory health insurance company. TK is a public corporation with self-administration and is a member of the Association of Substitute Health Insurance Funds.

TK supports and advises universities in the introduction and establishment of holistic health management. TK's commitment to student health management (SGM) is based on the "Act to Strengthen Health Promotion and Prevention", with which the legislator commissioned the health insurance companies in 2015 to strengthen the development of health-promoting structures in the university environment, to assess the health situation of students and to support suitable measures. In this context, TK, together with the German University Sports Association (adh), has launched a comprehensive university initiative entitled "Bewegt studieren - Studieren bewegt!" (Moving to study - Studying moves!) to make everyday university life more active for and with students throughout Germany.

In addition, TK is an active and supporting member of the "nationwide working group for health-promoting universities (AGH)" and also supports regional working groups. The aim is to support health promotion at universities and thus healthy learning and working conditions through scientific and professional exchange. To this end, #SGD- Der Kongress offers an ideal platform, which is supported by TK. Because networking reflects the spirit of the times, it supports modern, lifelong learning and is geared towards cooperation.

The German University Sports Association (adh) is the umbrella organization for university sports facilities in Germany. It is the only German association that has students and university staff as its target group. Over 200 universities with around 3 million students and staff are currently members.

In the wake of recent developments in health policy, the adh and Techniker Krankenkasse (TK) are jointly intensifying their commitment in the area of health promotion. To this end, adh and TK initiated the cooperation project "Bewegt studieren - Studieren bewegt!" in 2017. The aim of the initiative is to promote the health of students through more exercise on campus and to strengthen college sports as an important player in student health management. The initiative impressively illustrates the innovative potential of university sports facilities to use digitalization for health promotion measures and projects.

In order to strengthen these developments around the topic of "digitalization and health promotion", to expand competencies and to enable value-adding transfer opportunities for adh member universities, the adh is participating in #SGD-Der Kongress as a cooperation partner and initiator and is convinced of the potential of the event.

The Health Promoting Universities working group has been in existence since 1995 and is made up of participants from a wide range of status groups from various national and international universities.

The working group is based on the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion of the WHO (1986) and is committed to the setting approach. One of the most important key questions is: How is health created and maintained in the university setting? The development of quality criteria, networking at regular working meetings and the discussion of current issues relating to health-promoting developments at universities serve the goal of integrating health promotion as a cross-sectional and permanent task in all areas of higher education.

The congress offers the opportunity to exchange ideas on the implementation of digitalization in health promotion, to gather new ideas with a view beyond one's own nose and to discuss the challenges that digitalization brings with it.

Study the subjects Teacher Training in Sport or Health or the non-teaching degree programme Sport Science and Health at RPTU. You can expect three practice-oriented degree programmes taught by a team of two professors and more than twenty lecturers.

The field of sports science is developing rapidly and very dynamically - through cooperation with university research institutions, we always have our finger on the pulse. Our cooperation with clubs, associations, institutions and companies guarantees a high level of practical relevance of our degree programmes and the opportunity to acquire additional coaching licenses.

Teaching at RPTU takes place at a high level and is geared towards the needs of students in terms of content and didactics. Thanks to a very good (numerical and human) ratio of lecturers to students, we are able to provide you with the best possible support as you progress through your studies.

At CampusPlus, we do everything we can to ensure that students feel comfortable at RPTU. Our aim is to promote bio-psycho-social health. In other words, we want students to feel good not only physically, but also mentally and socially. We focus on creating an attractive campus life and facilitating healthy studies.

Studying healthily does not have to be exhausting or complicated: With chill & play facilities and exercise options scattered across the campus, you can counteract the stress of university or relax with friends in the evening at our events in the summer. We are happy to support #SGD-der Kongress with our personal power and creative ideas.

There is enormous potential for innovation at the interfaces between colleges, universities and their regional environments. This potential must be exploited by creating new interfaces and expanding existing ones. Reciprocal exchange processes between the scientific landscape and the economy, as well as society and culture, are at the heart of what we do.

We, the Open Digitalization Alliance Palatinate, as a joint project of Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM, are trying to actively shape the digital transformation in specialist areas of high economic and social relevance within this framework.

"Where innovative universities are shaping the digital future"

The central goal is to support digitalization in the innovation areas of education, health, vehicles, products, creativity and cooperation. The ever-increasing digitalization in areas such as these with their core topics: new digital teaching and learning formats, new transfer structures for digital health applications, simulation and visualization techniques for human-vehicle-environment scenarios, digital product development and design thinking methods, lead to a great dynamic of change. Exchange must take place here so that innovative strength can emerge. This is what the Open Digitalization Alliance Palatinate stands for.

The Sportbund Pfalz is the umbrella organization for sport in the Palatinate with 2,049 member clubs and 60 specialist associations. Over 502,000 people - 35% of the population - play sport in the Palatinate's sports clubs. This makes the athletes under the umbrella of the sports association the largest citizens' association in the Palatinate. The Sportbund Pfalz is a registered association and has been based in Kaiserslautern since it was founded in 1949. In 2013, it relocated its office to the campus at RPTU and, together with other sports partners, has been a building block of the Palatinate Sports Center ever since.

The Sportbund Pfalz is first and foremost a partner of the sports clubs and professional associations. It represents the interests of sport and its members vis-à-vis state and municipal authorities as well as in public and regulates their interdisciplinary matters. In particular, the Sportbund Pfalz is responsible for the promotion of competitive, popular and recreational sports, the interdisciplinary training and further education of exercise instructors and their subsidies as well as the awarding of the German Sports Badge. In the field of sports management, the umbrella organization trains club managers and ensures their further training and thus also the contemporary development of the clubs. Together with its insurance partner, the sports association also ensures that its members have adequate insurance cover and provides advice on issues relating to the construction of sports facilities.

The Sportbund's offers and services are constantly adapted to current requirements. Examples include the digitalization of sport, demographic changes, changes to state and federal laws, the new sports funding guidelines, the maintenance of sports facilities and modern educational offers. The Sportbund Pfalz is future-oriented and innovative, but it also looks back on the origins and historical development of the gymnastics and sports movement in the Palatinate with its Palatinate Sports Museum in Hauenstein.

The healthcare industry is undergoing a digital revolution. The Westpfalz-Klinikum is also driving this development forward and is breaking completely new ground in the field of IT-supported medicine. For example, the DaVinci Xi® Multiport surgical robot has been in use there for a year now and enables minimally invasive, millimetre-precise surgery. Patient-specific therapy planning using a 3D model of brain aneurysms and the digital possibilities of influencing emotions also show how digitalization is advancing in medicine. The Westpfalz-Klinikum always has an eye on the people who are to benefit from the new digital possibilities. Together with three other partners, the Westpfalz-Klinikum has co-organized the eHealth Symposium Southwest for three years in a row. The event brings together experts from business, science and medicine to discuss new digitalization trends in medicine.

The Westpfalz-Klinikum provides medical care for the entire West Palatinate region and the neighboring North Palatinate uplands. It is represented at four locations: Kaiserslautern, Kusel, Kirchheimbolanden and Rockenhausen.
