Focused and more relaxed in stressful situations
Is your stress level constantly high and you don't know how to get back into balance? Then we have a way for you to find your inner center again: In an eight-week yoga course, we offer you numerous methods and tips on how to get through your day more relaxed and focused again.
This course is for anyone who can invest 1.5 hours per week over eight weeks in building up their mental strength so that they can cope with everyday university life and exam situations in a more concentrated and relaxed way. The course units build on each other and consist of calm to very sporty and active yoga exercises, breathing exercises and various relaxation techniques. You will also learn a lot about stress mechanisms and what you can do for your individual exam success in addition to the professional preparation.
The course series was designed by Prof. Dr. Bernd Simeon (Professor of Mathematics at RPTU in Kaiserslautern and yoga teacher according to Yoga Vidya) and Lina Sprenger (graduate sports scientist, research assistant in the FG Sports Science at RPTU in Kaiserslautern, yoga teacher (500h RYS) and systemic coach) and is taught by Prof. Dr. Bernd Simeon.
No previous knowledge is necessary to participate, but you must be present on the first date to secure a place. The course is completely free of charge. As this course is in high demand, you should only register if you can attend at least six sessions.
The language of instruction is German.

*Note: Participation in this course is limited (max. 20 people). Places will be allocated to students first. If there are still places available afterwards, these will be allocated to employees. Places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis - within both groups, the order of registration will be decisive. However, only registered persons who are present at the first appointment will be considered.
