Secret Tour 14: fluffy Easter special!
30.03.2024
We were accompanied by llamas on this tour. The participants were able to work closely with the llamas on a short hike, during which a lot of knowledge about the animals was imparted. Whether the participants hiked with the llamas or the llamas hiked with the participants remained unclear until the end ;) At the end, there was a small chocolate bunny to eat along the way before the group made their way back to Landau together!
Secret Tour 13: Beilstein Express!
10.10.2023
On this tour, we made our way through the forest to the Beilstein castle ruins. There, part of the Secrettour team waited for the hikers with warm food and drinks. With a potato stew and fruit punch in our stomachs, we were later able to make our way home by torchlight.
Secret Tour 1 Landau: Freshmen on Tour!
10.10.2023
On this tour, especially for first-year students, the newcomers at RPTU had the chance to make new contacts and get to know fellow students. With puzzles and challenges, the evening turned into a little adventure, with the fire bringing light into the darkness on the way back!
Secret Tour 12: Nature's delight!
10.10.2023
On this tour, we made our way through the forest to the House of Sustainability in Johanniskreuz. There we cooked together in an outdoor kitchen on an open fire and in an earth oven. From sheep's cheese or tofu in a maple leaf to roast potatoes, vegetables in a jar and leg of venison to chocolate banana, everything was included. At the end, one or two brave adventurers cooled off in the pond.
Secret Tour 11: Rocky flapping wings!
15.04.2023
We dared to go high on this tour and climbed the Donnersberg with its fantastic trails. With a huge group, far more than the other tours, we filled the coach and set ourselves the mission of reaching the summit of the highest mountain in the Palatinate. We were rewarded with great views of wide valleys, for example from the Adlerbogen. Finally, a delicious barbecue was a must.
Secret Tour 10: Devil's Kitchen!
19.03.2023
After a joint hike to the legendary Humberg tower, we set up our outdoor kitchen at the summit with a view of the Devils' stadium. Working as a team, we conjured up a feast of a main course, side salad and aperitif on the table. Due to the changeable weather, we were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow. We lit up the way back with torches.
Secret Tour 9: There is also a way down!
02.02.2023
We have entered the underground world of the city of Kaiserslautern. Invisible passages beneath the earth's surface led us to the Palatine Count's Hall and gave us a glimpse into a partly forgotten but magnificent time. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious meal of typical Palatinate fare in Kaiserslautern's oldest restaurant, the Spinnrädl.
Secret Tour 5: Come time - Come pass
29.01.2022
On the fifth Secret Tour, we went orienteering and discovered the primeval forest of the Palatinate Forest. In the old-fashioned way, only maps and compasses were allowed as aids. The weather left a lot to be desired, but that didn't detract from the fun, games and excitement!
Secret Tour 3: The hatchet in the forest
17.11.2021
We've come up with something completely new for the third Secret Tour. As always, it will be a special kind of nature experience, only this time perhaps a little colder! But we won't give any more away, just this much: pack your gloves, hat and scarf and don't hesitate: As always, the number of participants is limited to a few lucky ones.
Secret Tour 2: RELAXED TURNING
17.10.2021
On the second tour, the Lauter Valley was discovered by bike. From Kammgarn to Lauterecken, it was a relaxed bike ride along the famous Lauter river. With rays of sunshine on our backs and helmets on our heads, we "relaxed" for 40 km. After the effort, there was a princely picnic with delicious cheese, fresh baguette and, of course, pretzels. We then took the train back to Lautern in comfort. Thanks to our guides, nobody needed their smartphone for GPS navigation.
Secret tour 1: GÖNN DIR!
25.09.2021
The first tour in the Secret Tour series was called "GÖNN DIR!" and took its participants to the dreamy wine village of Gönnheim in the Vorderpfalz region in glorious late summer weather. Picked up from the train station by covered wagon, they headed straight to the vineyard to pick grapes. After plenty of sunshine, fresh air and physical work, the fun part began: wine tasting, a culinary break, a guided tour with an insight into further wine processing and the hallowed halls of the wine cellar, another wine tasting to be on the safe side and back to Lautern with heavy arms and a richer Palatinate experience. And nobody missed their cell phone.
