You can really score points here! Four weeks to play - four different weeklies, but only one challenge per week is active. What all the challenges have in common is that you move around. Sometimes in sports courses, sometimes hunting for Mr. Z or the schnitzel, or collecting coins that would make Scrooge green with envy.
COIN COLLECTOR
Every day, 20 virtual coins are distributed across the campus and the adjacent green area, which you can collect in the app. Once you have collected all the coins, the Super Coin will be unlocked. The Super Coin is invisible and you can find out its location by correctly solving a picture puzzle. If you are at the location of the Super Coin, 100 extra points will be added to your account. You will also come across Running Coins. They run tirelessly across the campus and you have to be on your toes to catch them in time. You can collect the coins anew every day. It doesn't matter on which campus you collect your 20 coins each day. If you think you can collect more points beyond the 20 coins, we have to disappoint you.
MR.Z
You can't catch Mr. Z on your own! Play together with at least one other player or a maximum of 4 other friends and try to catch Mr. Z. We have laid a graph with nodes and edges over the campus. Mr. Z moves from node to node across the campus. The trick is that he is only visible at every third node. If one of the team manages to catch Mr. Z, each member of the team receives 200 points for their own account and the house account. To play as a team, create a lobby at the start of the game or join a lobby with the code (three selected symbols). Then you can start your hunt for Mr. Z.
SNIPE HUNT
The RPTU campus is surrounded by eventful city centers and located right next to the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve. What could be cooler than exploring your surroundings by solving puzzles? And that makes a scavenger hunt an obvious choice. We have prepared cool tours for each campus - Kaiserslautern and Landau - to get you out into the fresh air and get you moving at the same time. By solving the riddles, you will know which destination you should head to next. Once you have taken the right direction and come within 500m of your destination, the distance to your destination is displayed on the app. If you are within 50m of a destination, you will receive the next puzzle directly on your cell phone. You receive 200 points for every target you reach! If you are an avid player and solve the puzzle in your off-campus city, you will receive trophies for exceptional achievements, but no additional points.
Pro tip: Pack a lunch box and do the scavenger hunt together with your friends!
SPORTS COURSES
It gets sweaty here! When you attend a sports course at RPTU (Unisport or Unifit (KL)), you get real "RPTU money". Scan the QR code on the banknote using the app and earn a whopping 300 points per course! You can find all sports courses on the homepage. Are you a student in Landau and want to attend a course in Kaiserslautern? No problem at all! After all, we are a university. It works the other way around, of course. You can take part in up to three courses a day. Afterwards, we give your body a break.
