Are there also positive sides to using cannabis and why do people use it?

Secondly, under certain circumstances, cannabis can produce hallucinogenic effects and alter perception, which is seen by some as a way to escape reality and relax. Cannabis is also used in the medical field for the treatment of various ailments, particularly through the active ingredient CBD, which can provide pain relief and other positive effects.
