workshop: Toprope Course

This course is for all beginners and returners to learn or refresh the basics of indoor climbing. On 3 dates with two hours each, a trained instructor will introduce you to the world of climbing. You will learn the basics of the so-called "Toprope climbing". At the end of the course you will be able to "toprope" independently in the hall and belay your buddy in the toprope. You will learn the necessary knots to tie into the climbing rope, how to use the belay device, how to set up a toprope and how to recognize and avoid mistakes when toprope climbing. In addition, the procedure for the partner check, the rope commands and the basic behavior when climbing in the hall are taught. - You can borrow all the necessary climbing equipment from us on site. There are no extra costs. Shoes, harness, belay device. - Clothing: comfortable sportswear, suitable for climbing. On site, the hall usage regulations of the DAV Kaiserslautern section apply. - Participation is also possible as a single person. Groups will be formed on site.
