Health Literacy: Physical, Mental and Social Health
Health Literacy
Physical, Mental & Social Health
What keeps us healthy? What is health and how does it develop? And what role do biological, social and psychological factors play in this? How can I actively contribute to promoting my own health? How can I share this knowledge with those around me?
These and other questions will be addressed as part of the Health Literacy: Physical, Mental and Social Health certificate, which will start for the first time at both university locations in the winter semester 2024/25. It offers RPTU students the opportunity to deal in depth with issues relating to the development and maintenance of health, to reflect on their own health and to expand their individual competences. The core component of the certificate deepens knowledge in the three areas of physical health, mental health and social health.
The course is a cooperation project between the Competence Centre for Study and Career (KSB) and the Centre for Sport, Health and Wellbeing (ZSGW).
