The new beginners course Salsa and Bachata starts on November 4th, registration is still possible a maximum of one week after the course starts and is valid for the entire semester. It is no longer possible to join the beginners' courses at a later date.
On 28.10. there is a one-off taster session for Bachata at 7pm and Salsa at 8:15pm, which you can simply drop in for.
Salsa and Bachata are passionate dances that take you into the world of Latin American rhythms. From the dynamic salsa beats to the soulful sounds of bachata - the courses cover a wide variety that appeals to every dance enthusiast.
Bachata beginner:
The Bachata beginners' course offers you the opportunity to learn the basic steps and simple turns of this romantic dance. Here you will be introduced to the fascinating rhythms and movements of Bachata so that you can quickly master the basics and move confidently on the dance floor.
Bachata Advanced:
This course is aimed at dancers who want to deepen their knowledge. You will learn more sophisticated figures and technique to take your bachata skills to the next level. Here you have the opportunity to develop your personal style and learn more about musical interpretation.
Salsa beginner:
In the salsa beginners' course you will learn the basic steps and first figures to dance along at salsa parties. The focus is on the joy of dancing while you discover the rhythmic movements and energy of salsa. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to start dancing salsa.
Salsa Advanced:
In the advanced salsa course, you will deepen your skills with more complex movement sequences and more room for improvisation and creativity. Here you build on the basics and develop your own dance style while learning new, exciting moves and techniques.
Free practice:
This course is ideal for consolidating what you have learned in the Bachata and Salsa courses. You can practise on your own, work on new moves or get tips from the instructors, who are also available as dance partners. Free dancing: Bachata / Salsa beginners: In this open dance format, you have the opportunity to apply what you have learned in a relaxed atmosphere. There is no set structure, so you can just come and dance whenever you like. This is a great opportunity to connect with other beginners and enjoy the sense of community.
Free dancing: Bachata / Salsa Advanced:
In this course, you can refine the techniques you have already learned and try out new movements in a relaxed atmosphere. Take the opportunity to express your creativity and develop your individual dance style. The course gives you the freedom to practise at your own pace and explore new ideas.
Salsa Cubana:
The Cubana salsa course serves as preparation for the salsa rueda courses. Here you will learn the characteristic movements and partner changes of Salsa Cubana, which will provide you with the basis for the Rueda dance later on. The focus is on the connection with your partner and the rhythm of the music.
Salsa Rueda beginners:
In this beginners' course for Salsa Rueda, you will learn how to dance in a group in a circle in sync with the music. Constant partner changes make the dance dynamic varied and fun. This course promotes a sense of community and makes dancing a special experience.
Salsa Rueda advanced:
This course is aimed at dancers with previous knowledge of Salsa Rueda. Here you will deepen the figures you have already learned and learn advanced steps and choreographies that require more coordination and timing. The course offers you the opportunity to refine your skills and strengthen your presence in the group.
Important:
For all courses you need a dance card that is valid for the entire semester. Registration takes place at the beginning of the semester and is valid for the entire period. If you are unable to attend a date, you can simply cancel your registration for that day.
