RPTU successful at company runs in Landau and Kaiserslautern

In May 2025, the company runs of the RPTU locations in Landau and Kaiserslautern took place. Once again this year, RPTU was active and successful with its own teams of over 90 runners each.

The Südpfalz company run in Landau took place on May 15. The RPTU team, consisting of staff and students at RPTU, met for a joint warm-up shortly before the start of the run. The 5km course led through vineyards, along the Queich river and past the Südpfalzstadion to the finish line. Afterwards, the evening ended with live music at the after-run party on the Alter Messplatz. There is no timekeeping at the Südpfalz company run.

The B2Run in Kaiserslautern took place a week later, on May 22. After the team met in the city center for a team photo, they headed towards the starting area. The 5 km course could be completed from 18:00 either with the ambitious "Durchstarters" or shortly afterwards in the "Funstarter" group. As in previous years, the RPTU team achieved top placings in the various individual rankings:
- 1st place in the team classification mixed / team of 5 by Jannis Egelhof, Anna Meyer, Pascal Zittlau, Jens Christian and Franziska Eichler
- 2nd place in the team classification female / team of 5 by Anna Meyer, Franziska Eichler, Louisa Kienesberger, Ann-Cathrin Wolf and Annalisa John
- 2nd place in the individual classification female by Anna Meyer
- 9th place in the individual classification male by Jannis Egelhof
